Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Product Owner with strong Power Systems expertise to drive the delivery of digital products across power generation, transmission, and distribution. You’ll act as the bridge between business and technology teams, owning the product lifecycle and ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value
- Define product vision, roadmap, and user stories with stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams for delivery
- Ensure alignment with power systems workflows (grid operations, load flow)
- Analyse energy systems and enhance product capabilities
- Validate deliverables and drive continuous improvement
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication
Skills & Experience
Technical / Domain
- Strong Power Systems / Electrical Engineering knowledge
- Understanding of grid operations and energy systems
- Familiarity with APIs, data analytics, and integrations
Product & Agile
- Experience as Product Owner / Product Manager / Business Analyst
- Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge
- Ability to define KPIs and success metrics
Soft Skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or similar
