Job Description

Product Manager – Power Systems & Digital Innovation

Location: Warwick, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Contract: 6 months (rolling) | Start Date: ASAP

Rate: £425/day (Inside IR35)

About the Role

Our client, a leading global organization and a top name in IT services, is looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the delivery of cutting-edge digital products that combine power system engineering with advanced modelling and optimisation technologies. You will drive innovation in energy generation, transmission, and distribution — supporting renewable integration and enabling Net Zero ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the digital product vision & roadmap
  • Lead scoping, requirements gathering, and feature prioritisation
  • Manage cross-functional Agile delivery teams from concept to release
  • Integrate emerging digital technologies into power system solutions
  • Oversee development of tools/models for:
  • Load flow & fault level analysis
  • Stability simulations (dynamic & transient)
  • Optimal power flow studies
  • Renewable and distributed energy integration
  • Ensure interoperability with PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD
  • Translate complex modelling outputs into actionable insights for stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven product management experience in digital or energy sectors
  • Strong knowledge of power system principles, modelling techniques & grid operations
  • Proficiency in power system tools (PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP)
  • Understanding of smart grids, storage, and renewable trends
  • Excellent communication — able to simplify complex technical data for non-technical audiences
  • Agile methodology experience (Scrum, SAFe)

  • You will be joining the “AI Cloud” team.
  • Hybrid working: 3 days per week onsite in Warwick
  • Rolling contract – long-term extension likely.
