Location: Norwich (Hybrid- 3 days - flexible)
Contract Duration: 6 Months

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to drive and implement enterprise-wide data governance strategies. This role will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, compliance, and promoting a strong data-driven culture across the organisation.
Your Profile
- 8+ years of experience in Data Governance or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience implementing data governance frameworks and strategies
- Proven experience with data quality management, metadata management, and data lifecycle processes
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, BigID, Alation, Informatica)
- Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
- Experience working with data owners, stewards, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to define KPIs, metrics, and governance reporting frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in risk management, access controls, and data protection strategies
- Ability to lead initiatives and drive organisational change
