Role Overview
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions. This role sits at the heart of complex digital transformation programmes, shaping technical strategy, guiding delivery teams, and translating business needs into secure, scalable Salesforce architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end Salesforce technical architecture, including data, integrations, security, and custom development
- Design high‑performance solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, promoting Salesforce best practices
- Define and enforce development standards and architectural governance
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across large, multi‑stream programmes
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and engineering teams to ensure successful outcomes
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 12+ years enterprise architecture experience, including 10+ years on Salesforce
- Strong background in application, data, integration, and security architecture
- Advanced development skills (Apex, Force.com, Lightning, Java/.Net concepts)
- Proven experience with Batch Apex and Scheduled Apex
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
Desirable
- Salesforce System Architect – Certified (must)
- Salesforce Application Architect – Certified (must)
- Salesforce CTA certification (desirable)
- Experience supporting pre‑sales activities and technical deep dives
- Willingness to travel to client sites when required
