We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst (6–8 years’ experience) to take end-to-end ownership of data cataloguing and governance for data migrated from Oracle to Azure Microsoft Fabric. This role will focus on the implementation, management, and ongoing optimisation of Microsoft Purview, ensuring data across the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) is trusted, discoverable, lineage-aware, and compliant.
The successful candidate will work closely with data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to embed governance into day-to-day data usage, rather than operating as a standalone compliance function.
Key Skills & Experience- 6–8 years’ experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Management roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including:
- Classification and sensitivity labelling
- Business glossary
- Data warehousing concepts
