The Role
The Senior Performance Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that applications and platforms meet performance, scalability, stability, and reliability requirements under expected and peak workload conditions. The role requires extensive experience with LoadRunner/Performance Centre, strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, and the ability to work closely with business, architecture, development, and infrastructure teams to identify and mitigate performance risks early in the delivery lifecycle.
Your Profile
Essential skills/experience:
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of hands‑on experience in delivering non‑functional test engagements, covering requirement gathering, workload model preparation, test planning, scripting using Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient, and web services, test execution, monitoring, and in‑depth performance results analysis.
- Experience in testing tools and technologies like Performance Centre, LoadRunner, MuleSoft, Tibco, Mule ESB, APM tools like Dynatrace/ App Dynamics.
- Proven capability in setting up performance testing frameworks and standards.
- Hands‑on experience delivering performance testing across both cloud‑based and legacy environment.
- Must have worked in Agile teams, should be well‑versed in agile framework.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with team members and UK customers.
