PSA Engineer Network / Transmission Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)\\n Contract Length: 6 months initially \\n Start Date: ASAP \\n Day Rate: 425 per day (Inside IR35)\\n\\n Were looking for an experienced PSA Engineer (Network/Transmission) to join a leading energy technology organisation on a contract basis. Youll play a key role in the development, customization, and delivery of advanced Power Systems Application (PSA) software , supporting critical systems for Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs. \\n Youll collaborate across engineering and customer teams to define functional specifications, design and develop system components, and ensure the reliable delivery of high-performance Energy Management Systems.
\\n\\n Develop and deliver advanced Power Systems Application (PSA) software solutions. \\n Collaborate with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs on software specifications and implementation. \\n Perform design, coding, testing, integration, and tuning of applications.
\\n Support patching, upgrades, and installation of third-party software (Oracle, NetApp, etc.). \\n 5+ years experience delivering and customizing Energy Management Systems (preferably e-terra AEMS Reliance ). \\n~ Experience working on Power Systems applications for transmission (Load flow, contingency analysis, Power Factor etc).
\\n~ Strong programming background in C++ , Java , and/or C . \\n~ Proficient with Linux and Windows operating systems. \\n~ Strong knowledge of Oracle databases , SQL , and shell scripting .
\\n~ Familiarity with object-oriented programming , Oracle , and system administration . \\n\\n\\n This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of systems that keep the energy grid running smoothly.
