New Exciting opportunity for the role of AWS Lambda Developer.

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid- 2 days from Office)

Contract Duration: 6 to 12 Months

Daily rate: £450 inside IR35

The Role

We are seeking a skilled AWS Lambda Developer to design and build scalable, event-driven serverless applications on the AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing, deploying, and optimizing Lambda-based solutions while integrating with other AWS services to deliver high-performance and cost-efficient systems.

Your Profile

Essential skills/experience:
  • Strong expertise in serverless development using AWS Lambda, with proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with AWS ecosystem integrations including API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and designing RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Good understanding of cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, security (IAM), and monitoring (CloudWatch) for building scalable and secure solutions
  • Deep understanding of core AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
Desirable skills/experience:
  • Strong grasp of security best practices and cost optimization
