The SME – Engineering Systems will be accountable for assisting the Applications Service in ensuring the efficient administration of Engineering systems operations. This also includes being accountable for the 24x7x365 operations of engineering systems (provided by VAL and 3rd parties ensuring optimal performance and collaboration within the team).
Your Profile
Essential skills/experience:
- Experience: 10+ years
- Deep expertise in Engineering MRO system.
- Strong hands-on experience with Airbus & Boeing System Administration.
- Proven airline experience and understanding on engineering systems applications.
- Skilled in ITIL functions and can take up the BaU Support responsibilities including on-call.
- Thorough understanding of SLAs/KPIs & Technology processes.
- Proficient in Incident Management, Release Management, Request management, Change Management & Problem Management.
- Proactive and responsible in terms of taking ownership of key items within the Team.
- Experience in a role where good attention to detail has been demonstrated.
- Excellent presentation skills, ability to present complex information confidently to a variety of different audiences.
- Can develop and build relationships with team members from all areas of the business and Technology.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment which needs strong organizational skills.
- Airline domain, Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance.
