Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to join a high-performing technology team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for leading DevOps initiatives, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and supporting the delivery of secure, scalable cloud-native solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Architect, manage, and optimise cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible (Infrastructure as Code)
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance best practices
- Lead DevOps initiatives and collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on expertise with Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps
- Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring/observability
- Hands-on use of Terraform and Ansible
- Solid understanding of security and compliance best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- 8β10 yearsβ overall experience in DevOps or related roles
Desirable Skills
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications
