The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support the delivery of cloud-based application environments for a major enterprise transformation programme. You’ll work on modern Azure infrastructure, collaborating with architects, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable environments on time and to cost. This role suits someone who’s hands-on, delivery-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Azure infrastructure environments aligned to architecture and solution design documents
- Provision and manage Azure resources using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
- Build and execute CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Work with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Create and maintain Azure platform services including:
- Storage Accounts
- Azure Container Registry (ACR)
- Key Vault
- Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Azure infrastructure engineering
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM / Bicep)
- Azure DevOps pipelines (build and release)
- Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Azure platform services (Storage, ACR, Key Vault, Monitoring)
- Experience managing database and storage technologies
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to deliver under pressure with a quality-first mindset
