Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Tester (SuccessFactors) to support ongoing HR change requests across core SAP SuccessFactors modules. This role focuses on hands-on functional and regression testing of configuration changes, enhancements, integrations, and defect fixes within a BAU and release-driven environment. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, you will help ensure that HR and Payroll changes are delivered accurately and with minimal risk to live operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse HR change requests and functional documentation to assess test scope and impact.
- Design and execute functional and regression test cases for SuccessFactors configuration changes.
- Validate end-to-end HR processes, including hire, job change, absence, performance cycles, learning assignments, and recruitment workflows.
- Perform focused testing of payroll-relevant changes impacting Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Execute regression testing aligned to scheduled releases and payroll cycles.
- Log, track, and retest defects using agreed test management tools.
- Produce clear test evidence and contribute to status reporting for the Test Manager.
- Support UAT cycles by assisting HR and Payroll SMEs.
- Identify risks or quality concerns early and provide clear recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively within a change-driven environment to meet delivery timelines.
Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on testing experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
- Strong functional knowledge of Employee Central and Time Off.
- Experience testing Performance & Goals, Recruitment, and LMS modules.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end HR processes.
- Experience working in BAU / AMS / change-driven environments.
- Ability to work independently and deliver to agreed timelines.
- Strong defect management and documentation capabilities.
Desirable
- Exposure to Employee Central Payroll (ECP) testing.
- Experience testing integrations across SuccessFactors modules or downstream systems.
- Familiarity with quarterly SuccessFactors release testing.
- Experience supporting HR or Payroll UAT cycles.
