Overview: SAP EWM Functional Expert to support a major S/4HANA transformation in the life sciences/pharma sector. Lead EWM design, configuration and optimisation across inbound/outbound logistics, internal warehouse processes, master data setup, and advanced capabilities including POSC/LOSC, Wave Management, Kitting and Cross-Docking. You will work with global teams and stakeholders across multiple sites to deliver scalable EWM solutions.
Location: London - Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Rate: £550 per day inside IR35
Duration: 6 months, initially
Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP EWM initiatives for life sciences/pharma programmes.
- Configure EWM processes: inbound/outbound, HU management, physical inventory, internal movements, bin/storage type setup, warehouse master data.
- Integrate with S/4HANA/ECC using CIF, IDOC and qRFC.
- Implement POSC/LOSC, Wave Management, Kitting and Cross-Docking.
- Support RF/ITS Mobile; debug ABAP and coordinate with developers.
- Deliver interface and integration projects with external systems.
- Work with global teams across time zones; resolve site-specific issues.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- 10-15 years' SAP EWM implementation/rollout experience (ideally life sciences/pharma).
- Deep SAP EWM/logistics expertise; strong ABAP debugging; S/4HANA experience.
- Integration experience across SAP modules and external systems.
- Interface development, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
Desirable:
- Integration with wider connected systems.
- Basic understanding of pharma processes.
- Global delivery experience (IST + European time zones).
- Experience in Repetitive/Discrete/Process Industries.
- Ability to train users; familiarity with SAP best practices.
