We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Principal Engineer to join a leading enterprise on a 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role based in Windsor, UK, requiring one day per week in the office initially. As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and shape the Salesforce platform architecture across multiple teams. You will define standards, guide best practices, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while influencing engineering direction across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to Salesforce developers and stakeholders
- Define and maintain Salesforce system architecture, integration patterns, and platform standards
- Shape and deliver mobile and digital capabilities that enhance safety, compliance, customer experience, and productivity
- Champion engineering excellence: CI/CD automation, testing strategies, observability, release processes, and secure-by-design practices
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and resilience
- Implement AI-enabled tooling and automation practices to improve ways of working
