Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions. You’ll bridge business needs with technical execution, guide teams, drive best practice, and shape end-to-end architecture across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture across Salesforce programs, including integrations, data migration, AppExchange and custom development
- Optimise business processes through technology and integration
- Present and defend architectural decisions clearly to varied audiences
- Work closely with delivery managers, solution architects, and client teams
- Enforce best practices, produce technical documentation, and ensure solution scalability
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and manage risks to resolution
- Influence technology direction and support pre-sales, discovery, and PoC work
- Mentor teams and contribute to strategic technical initiatives
- Deliver secure, maintainable, high-quality Salesforce solutions
- Collaborate with internal and external technical stakeholders as required
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 12+ years enterprise architecture, incl. 10+ years on Salesforce
- Strong application, data, integration & security architecture experience
- Deep Salesforce platform knowledge
- Strong technical grounding: Apex, Lightning, APIs, relational DBs, system design
- Experience with Batch & Scheduled Apex
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to steer project direction and ensure best practice
- Trusted advisor capable of guiding emerging tech adoption
- Pre-sales and PoC experience
- Able to manage expectations and solve complex issues
Desirable
- Salesforce System Architect (must)
- Salesforce Application Architect (must)
- Salesforce CTA (optional)
- Experience working with Salesforce product teams
- Willingness to travel to client sites
