Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ / Subscription Architect to lead the design and governance of Oracle CX Cloud solutions across CPQ and Subscription Management.
You will drive discovery workshops, define target-state architecture, lead fit-gap analysis, and provide architectural oversight across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Oracle CX Cloud solutions across CPQ and Subscription Management.
- Lead business and technical discovery workshops.
- Define target-state architecture covering Lead-to-Order, Quote-to-Cash, and subscription lifecycle processes.
- Design integrations across Oracle CPQ, Subscription Management, Sales Cloud, ERP, and back-office systems.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, and Oracle integration patterns.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and promote adoption of standard Oracle capabilities.
- Review solution designs, configurations, customisations, and integration deliverables.
- Act as the technical and functional design authority throughout delivery.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 12+ years' experience in IT and enterprise applications, including large Oracle CX transformation programmes.
- Strong Oracle CX Cloud architecture expertise across CPQ and Subscription Management.
- 2–3 full lifecycle Oracle CX implementations involving CPQ and/or Subscription modules.
- Strong understanding of Lead-to-Order, Quote-to-Cash, and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle configuration, workflows, rules, customisation, and integrations.
- Experience with requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, migration planning, testing, and governance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Oracle CPQ Cloud certification.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Experience with legacy-to-Oracle CX migration programmes and multi-vendor environments.
- Strong workshop facilitation, problem-solving, and architecture governance skills.
