Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive features within an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
- Build reusable frontend components and contribute to shared code libraries.
- Integrate RESTful APIs into frontend applications.
- Write unit tests using Jest / React Testing Library.
- Develop end-to-end automated testing using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application delivery.
- Apply secure development practices, including secrets management and CI/CD security.
- Build and deploy applications to Azure and/or GCP.
- Participate in code reviews, prototyping and technical documentation.
- Contribute to platform and product roadmaps and continuous improvement.
- Provide hands-on production/live service support, resolving incidents and implementing long-term fixes.
- Lead technical discussions with engineering teams, SMEs and senior stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical upskilling across teams.
- Strong frontend engineering and reusable component development experience.
- Jest and React Testing Library experience.
- Automated functional/E2E testing using Playwright, Cypress and/or Selenium.
- Experience integrating REST APIs.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying applications to Azure and/or GCP.
- Understanding of secure development and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience supporting production/live applications.
- Backstage / Internal Developer Platform experience.
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience working with developer portals or developer experience platforms.
