Biostats HPC Solution Architect

Location: Hertfordshire (Preferred) or London Hybrid: Minimum 2 days onsite per week Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months Rate: Competitive DOE, inside IR35 Are you an expert in HPC and cloud infrastructure with a passion for solving complex problems in the life sciences domain? Our global client is seeking a Biostats HPC Solution Architect to support high-impact projects in clinical and biostatistics environments. Responsibilities:

  • Design and support domain-specific HPC and cloud-based solutions
  • Provide technical leadership across architecture layers
  • Install and configure Python & HPC on Linux systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
  • Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure (Azure, On-premises, Cloud)
  • Proficiency in R and Python environments
  • Experience with HPC systems (e.g., Slurm)
  • Basic SAS knowledge
  • Deep understanding of Life Science and Biostatics

Desirable:

  • Background in Life Sciences or Clinical Data
  • Broad knowledge of infrastructure solutions
