Biostats HPC Solution Architect
Location: Hertfordshire (Preferred) or London Hybrid: Minimum 2 days onsite per week Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months Rate: Competitive DOE, inside IR35 Are you an expert in HPC and cloud infrastructure with a passion for solving complex problems in the life sciences domain? Our global client is seeking a Biostats HPC Solution Architect to support high-impact projects in clinical and biostatistics environments. Responsibilities:
- Design and support domain-specific HPC and cloud-based solutions
- Provide technical leadership across architecture layers
- Install and configure Python & HPC on Linux systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
- Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure (Azure, On-premises, Cloud)
- Proficiency in R and Python environments
- Experience with HPC systems (e.g., Slurm)
- Basic SAS knowledge
- Deep understanding of Life Science and Biostatics
Desirable:
- Background in Life Sciences or Clinical Data
- Broad knowledge of infrastructure solutions
