We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect to join a major enterprise collections transformation programme within a leading financial services environment. This is a senior architecture role, responsible for defining and governing end-to-end Pega solution architecture across complex collections journeys.
You will play a key role in shaping the target architecture for collections (early, mid, late, and legal stages), ensuring best practice use of Pega frameworks and alignment with regulatory and enterprise standards. The role requires strong leadership across technical teams and close engagement with senior stakeholders, including enterprise architects and programme leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own end-to-end Pega architecture for collections transformation
- Lead design of Pega application structure, class hierarchy, and framework layering
- Govern use of Pega Collections and Customer Service case types
- Define integration strategy with banking systems, payment platforms, CRM, and third parties
- Architect use of Customer Decision Hub for Next Best Action and payment strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and governance requirements
- Define non-functional architecture covering scalability, performance, security, and resilience
- Establish DevOps, release, and deployment standards across multi-team delivery
- Provide architectural governance and review of technical solutions
- Act as escalation point for all Pega architectural decisions
Required Experience:
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA)
- Strong background delivering Pega solutions in banking or financial services
- Hands-on experience with Pega Collections and Customer Service frameworks
- Experience integrating Pega Customer Decision Hub
- Background in large-scale, regulated enterprise programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership capability
