My client, a global consultancy leader, has an end client where a major UK infrastructure is undergoing a large-scale transformation of its Electricity Transmission SCADA platform, migrating from a legacy shared system to a modern OSI Aspentech/DGM-based solution. The new system will control ~350 substations, integrating thousands of sensors and assets, and is key to meeting digital efficiency and safety objectives.
We are looking for an experienced Agile Test Lead to ensure consistent, high-quality testing across multiple SCRUM teams throughout System Integration Testing (SIT) and other test phases delivered in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate SIT planning, preparation, and execution across 4 SCRUM teams
- Promote and embed testing best practices and quality assurance standards
- Manage defect processes, lead triage meetings, and assure resolution tracking
- Define and deliver clear reporting using JIRA, Excel, and Power BI
- Collaborate with SMEs, PMs, POs, and Architects to ensure full scope and traceability
- 5+ years’ experience leading SIT/FAT/SAT across Agile and Waterfall environments
- Expertise in JIRA/XRAY Test Management, with strong defect management and reporting capabilities
- Solid understanding of SCADA, Real-Time Control, and NMS systems (preferably OSI Aspentech/DGM)
- Familiarity with Mulesoft APIs, Oracle MFT, and relevant industry standards (IEC101, 104, 61850, etc.)
- Strong communicator and proactive leader with the ability to align cross-functional teams
