Job Description

Our client is currently seeking an experiencedSnowflake DBAfor a 6-month contract role startingASAP. This is ahybrid position, requiring partial on-site presence inNorwich, UK.

Role Overview:
As a Snowflake Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and securing Snowflake environments, optimizing performance, and ensuring governance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Snowflake accounts, database objects, and virtual warehouses

  • Oversee data security, governance, and sharing via Snowflake Data Exchange & Marketplace

  • Perform database monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning

  • Handle disaster recovery, backups, and replication

  • Utilize ANSI and Snowflake SQL

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on expertise withSnowflake,SQL, andAWS

  • Provendatabase administrationexperience with a DB such as SQL Server, Exadata, Teradata etc.

  • Familiarity with AWS services related to data and infrastructure

  • Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing roles

Contract Details:

  • Location:Hybrid (Norwich, UK)

  • Duration:6 Months

  • Start Date:ASAP (in the next 2-4 weeks)

  • Rate:Competitive day rate inside IR35
