About the Role
Our client, a top leading organization, is seeking an experienced Reliance Support Engineer to work on advanced Power Systems Application (PSA) development and delivery. This role involves collaborating with utilities and system operators to design, implement, and support mission-critical systems. Youll play a key part in developing, configuring, testing, and maintaining PSA solutions, ensuring reliable performance in live environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver Power Systems Application software in line with project and product commitments.
- Work on functional specifications, design, coding, testing, integration, and application tuning.
- Support installation of operating system patches and third-party software (e.g., Oracle, NetApp).
- Perform system configuration and version control using GitHub and ClearCase.
- Carry out debugging, log analysis, and resolution of issues in live customer systems.
- Ensure system stability and reliability for real-time and mission-critical environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialisation in Power Systems preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Java, SQL, Shell scripting, and Oracle Database.
- Hands-on experience with Reliance.
- Experience with GitHub and ClearCase for system configuration and version control.
- Track record of analysing, identifying, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Ability to install and manage patches, fixes, and upgrades on live systems.
- Prior experience in real-time or mission-critical environments.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in energy/utilities domains.
