This role supports underachieving students at A level in mathematics by working under the Academic Intervention and Learning Behaviours Mentor and liaising closely with teachers in the Mathematics department. The successful candidate will develop individual learning plans, promote effective study habits, and monitor progress to improve academic outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Academic Intervention and Learning Behaviours Mentor and mathematics colleagues to identify student needs and design targeted interventions.
  • Assist students in developing effective learning strategies and study habits.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as required.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to improvement.

Pay range: NJC Scale point 9 - 17
