Join a friendly, caring team of specialist staff and student support assistants in a department that prides itself on collaboration, inclusion and exceptional student support. Working from a purpose-built area with specialist facilities, including a life-skills kitchen and interactive classrooms, the team supports a wide range of learners with SEND needs. We require a part-time teacher on a 0.5 FTE.
Foundation Learning provides person-centred programmes for students aged 16–22 with Education Health and Care Plans, supporting needs including communication, cognition, social, emotional and mental health, sensory and physical and medical. Our curriculum is built around Preparing for Adulthood: Employability, Community Participation, Independent Living and Promoting Good Health, alongside a wide enrichment offer including enterprise, employability skills, PE, arts and independent living.
