The role supports donor acquisition by providing insight, due diligence, and strategic support to the Development team. The officer will develop a strong prospect pipeline, cultivating relationships with individuals, trusts, foundations and corporations to secure major gifts that advance the university’s priorities.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business leads and provide in-depth prospect profiles and due-diligence research.
- Support the cultivation of philanthropic relationships with individuals (alumni and non-alumni), trusts, foundations and corporations.
- Provide due diligence on prospective donors, support ethical gift acceptance, and manage the major giving pipeline.
- Coordinate with the wider organisation to ensure alignment with fundraising aims and effective major-giving management.
