This post represents an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced Senior Trial Manager / Trial Management Lead to work in a leading UKCRC registered Clinical Trials Unit. The aim of the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU) is to support and encourage high quality pragmatic trials in which the primary question of interest relates to intervention effectiveness: whether an intervention works under real‑life conditions.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to take on lead responsibilities for a portfolio of MHRA regulated studies, including both device trials and CTIMP trials. Part‑time working can be considered at a minimum commitment of 0.6 FTE. The post holder will contribute in particular to the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU).
Qualifications
Previous research experience in multi‑site Clinical Trials of an Investigational Medicinal Product (CTIMPs) involving NHS patients or research participants is essential.
