The role supports donor acquisition by providing insight, due diligence, and strategic support to the Development team. The officer will develop a strong prospect pipeline, cultivating relationships with individuals, trusts, foundations and corporations to secure major gifts that advance the university’s priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business leads and provide in‑depth prospect profiles and due‑diligence research.
  • Support the cultivation of philanthropic relationships with individuals (alumni and non‑alumni), trusts, foundations and corporations.
  • Provide due diligence on prospective donors, support ethical gift acceptance, and manage the major giving pipeline.
  • Coordinate with the wider organisation to ensure alignment with fundraising aims and effective major‑giving management.
