The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Queen Mary University of London seeks a Senior Lecturer to support our longâstanding Joint Programme (JP) / Joint Education Institution (JEI) with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in Beijing. The successful candidate will normally join by August 2025.
Role Overview
This is a teaching and scholarship position. The postholder will contribute to teaching delivery, scholarship activity, and administrative responsibilities within the JP/JEI. The role is based in London and will require regular travel to China for inâperson teaching.

Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline
- Teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level

Applicants should have clear and ambitious plans for advancing scholarship activities that enhance student education and experience, particularly through curriculum development and educational delivery in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. Traditional technical research outputs are not in scope for this role.
