We're looking for a skilled education specialist with the ability to engage a range of audiences to join the Queen Mary Academy. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of the Queen Mary Academy’s university-wide development portfolio. Reporting to our Academic Practice and Enhancement Manager you’ll contribute to a wide range of activities, including delivery of our Certificate in Learning and Teaching (CILT) and Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) and the design and delivery of exciting and engaging courses and workshops. You will also contribute to a range of key strategic initiatives which are fundamental to delivering Queen Mary’s 2030 Strategy. Your role will evolve as the Academy’s work develops, so to succeed you will need to demonstrate a flexible and agile approach. This is an exciting time to join the Queen Mary Academy, as we develop our provision and work to support Queen Mary’s ambitious 2030 Strategy.About YouYou will have experience in the design, delivery and co-ordination of an educational development portfolio for academic staff, with experience of teaching in higher education, including small and large group teaching, face to face and online. You’ll also have experience of delivering provision which meets institutional need and strategy. You will be knowledgeable about effective pedagogy in higher education, with a significant understanding of the UK higher education landscape. We’re looking for a strong communicator, who can build strong relationships with colleagues and engage a range of audiences across a range of platforms, conveying key messages in an engaging and clear manner.
