The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

This role sits within the QM Venues team and is responsible for processing all internal event enquiries with outstanding customer service, whilst supporting the planning and delivery of events across the University. The post holder will act as the key contact for internal clients and support external enquiries where required. The Internal Sales & Events Coordinator will ensure all event enquiries and bookings are processed accurately within agreed timescales, maintaining accurate records within the CRM system and preparing function sheets, quotes and event documentation. The post holder will develop a strong knowledge of the University's venues and services, maximise booking opportunities through effective upselling, and work closely with Operations, Hospitality and campus stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination, venue bookings, hospitality, customer service or a related environment. You will be highly organised, customer focused and confident managing multiple enquiries and priorities in a busy setting. You will have excellent communication and administration skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be proactive, professional and able to deliver outstanding customer service, even when working under pressure.

This role sits within the QM Venues team, which manages internal and external events, hospitality activity, academic lets and summer school accommodation across the University. The team works closely with a range of service providers and departments to deliver high‑quality experiences for students, staff and visitors.
