This a temporary casual work contract for 12 months and you will be based in our Mile End Campus and will provide excellent customer service by welcoming, helping and serving guests and ensuring the front-of-house environment is always well kept, as well as assisting with servicing of food and beverages for all our events and outlets in our campuses. Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift heavy objects. Additionally, availability to work evenings, some weekends, and bank holidays is necessary. We offer Allergens Awareness training, Level 2 training in Food Hygiene, free on-site lunch and hot drinks and inclusive employment policies. As this is a casual work contract you will be able to work on your spare time while you study.
We are looking for an individual who can support the Hospitality & Retail team in a busy environment and someone who has:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
- A clear understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- A professional, motivated and customer focused approach.
- Exceptional people skills, both customers facing and with other members of the team.
- An ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Strong attention into detail organisational skills.
- Strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Flexibility and available to work some long shifts.
