The Faculty Education and Quality Manager leads and coordinates education quality, academic governance and regulatory compliance across the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS).
Working closely with School Education and Quality Managers, academic colleagues and central Professional Services teams, the postholder ensures the consistent implementation of academic regulations, assessment processes and quality assurance frameworks.
The role supports governance committees, oversees reporting and review activities, identifies academic risks and opportunities for improvement, and drives initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and the student academic experience across the Faculty.
You will hold a degree or equivalent professional experience, together with substantial experience in academic governance, quality assurance and standards management within higher education.
You will have strong knowledge of academic regulations, assessment governance and quality review processes, alongside excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be confident in advising senior colleagues, interpreting complex regulations, managing competing priorities and using data to inform decision-making.
You will demonstrate sound judgement, a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
