About the Role
The East London Sickle Cell Cohort Study is a long-running observational study of patients managed by Barts Health NHS Trust and the East London and Essex Clinical Haemoglobinopathy Network. The study maintains a dedicated database of longitudinal clinical data to support research into disease outcomes, treatment responses, and predictors of disease severity. Based at the Royal London Hospital, with some remote working flexibility, you will support data management, analysis, and project coordination alongside clinical investigators and NHS data teams.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with experience handling clinical data and an understanding of central data monitoring and research governance. You will have knowledge of clinical study regulations, including ICH GCP, UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018, and be able to manage competing priorities while communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders. You will be committed to continuous professional development, take ownership of your work, and contribute positively to team objectives.
