The research aims to understand how genetic variation within rDNA influences disease development, including cancer, and to explore the evolutionary history of rDNA variation through large-scale integrative analyses of human whole-genome sequencing datasets. About You The successful candidate will have a PhD in computational biology or bioinformatics, with several years of postdoctoral experience in analysis of repetitive regions. Expertise in R, Python, Java, Matlab, C, MySQL, and experience in GWAS, whole genome sequencing, epigenomic, and transcriptomic analyses are essential. Evidence of these skills should be demonstrated through first-author publications. The role also involves supervising junior lab members and contributing to grant writing.
