You're an experienced marketing and campaigns professional looking for your next challenge, either a step up from your current role or a move into the Higher Education Sector. You'll have hands‑on experience across channels including email, paid social and organic social, and be confident working with agencies to deliver successful campaigns. Experience in student recruitment, outreach, widening participation or the Higher Education sector is a bonus, but not essential.

Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Strong CRM and email marketing experience (Salesforce and Marketing Cloud are highly desirable)
  • A track record of developing effective marketing and content strategies
  • Confidence using analytics to measure performance and optimise campaigns
  • Excellent relationship‑building, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • An understanding of UK and international student recruitment

This exciting and varied role sits within the Marketing and Communications directorate of one of the UK's leading universities. The team is responsible for marketing the profile of Queen Mary University of London, a part of the highly regarded Russell Group. The postholder will play a key role in the attraction, recruitment, and nurture of students from the UK and Overseas.

The Directorate of Marketing & Communications is responsible for building QMUL's brand and profile through internal and external communications activity, recruiting students (home and international) and marketing our educational programmes.
