The purpose of the post is to act as a first point of contact for disabled students. The postholder will provide advice, guidance and support to disabled students, including those with specific learning differences such as dyslexia, and agree and implement appropriate support for them. They will support the team of specialist Disability Advisers and coordinate 'non-specialist' human support for Queen Mary students, such as note-taking. The Disability and Dyslexia Service ensures compliance with the Equality Act (2010).
