About The Role
This is a new post to support delivery of a series of NIHR, UKRI and Alzheimer’s Society funded studies and affiliated projects. The post holder will work closely with Professor Jennifer Lau and Professor Nathan Davies, based within the Centre for Psychiatry and Mental Health of the Wolfson Institute of Population Health.
The post holder will help with setting up studies (including ethics applications and NHS approvals), website development, arranging and setting up meetings/workshops, co-ordinating social media and communication channels, writing reports, co-ordinating patient and public involvement in research, co-ordinating and organising training.
The post holder will be responsible for liaising with a variety of stakeholders across QMUL and partner organisations. They will contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute and wider institution and research field of psychiatry and mental health and contribute to the administration of School/Institute teaching and research activities.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience of working in project administration and co-ordination, being able to act independently to ensure progress. You will have effective time management skills with the ability to transfer this into meeting tight deadlines. Any experience of managing stakeholders alongside working in an academic, medical or life sciences discipline would be desirable.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for 1 year ending 31st March 2026.
