We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic International Higher Education professional to join our Global Engagement Office as Head of Global Partnerships and Opportunities. The post holder must have experience in International Higher Education, primarily within a partnerships and/or student mobility context, and ideally with some experience of initiating and/or implementing TNE projects. They will play a lead role in increasing Queen Mary's global partnership network, diversifying our international student recruitment channels, expanding inbound and outbound student mobility opportunities, and extending our TNE footprint into new regions of the world.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, confident individual who can lead a team located both in London and across 6 other regional offices, managing multiple partnerships with leading institutions worldwide. Skills in relationship management are vital as the role requires building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority. The post holder will need to collaborate with both academic and professional services staff to ensure we are well positioned to deliver on both small and large scale projects. Working with colleagues across the wider External Relations Directorate, the post holder will also be part of a senior team working collectively on cross-cutting projects outside of the day-to-day responsibilities of their substantive role.
