As a Student Intervention Officer, you will be at the heart of targeted support, working closely with students who need focused behavioural, pastoral and attendance interventions to succeed in school. You will build strong, trusting relationships that enable students to re‑engage with learning, modelling respect in every interaction while setting clear expectations that encourage responsibility and growth. You will use your initiative and professional judgement to identify barriers, implement effective intervention strategies and monitor their impact. Working collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and families, you will play a key role in improving outcomes for students by ensuring they feel supported, challenged and motivated to achieve their ambitions.

Working Hours and Salary
- Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks (term time plus 1 week)
- Working Pattern: 7.30 am – 3.30 pm Mon to Thurs, 7.30 am – 3.30 pm on Fridays
- Salary: Pathway 2, £21,567 – £22,970 per year (FTE £25,185 – £26,824)
