The Governors of the Queens’ Federation are seekingto appoint a temporary full time L2 EYFS Nursery Assistant to work in the 2 year old roomat Queen Emma Nursery.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic andcommitted person to work as a part of our dedicated Nursery team. Applicants should be able to demonstrate agood knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, havethe ability to work as part of a team and develop positive and effectiverelationships with colleagues, children and their parents.
Essential:
- Patience, calmness, enthusiasm, flexibility, initiative and empathy
- Level 2 Early Years qualification
- Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of EYFS
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and families
- Reliable, caring and professional attitude
- Understanding of inclusion and diversity
- Experience of observations and assessments
- Ability to plan engaging activities
Desirable:
- Level 3 Early Yearsqualification
- Paediatric FirstAid qualification
