Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors and communal areas
- washroom/toilet/sink cleaning
- washing up
- Emptying wastepaper and recycling bins
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Any other duties commensurate
The College would expect successful candidates to have the following qualities:
- reliability - the College has an essential requirement for good timekeeping and attendance
- good teamworking and ability to get on with others whilst maintaining a professional attitude to work
- ability to carry out tasks with a minimum of supervision
- previous cleaning experience in a working environment would be an advantage though not essential
- flexibility
- willingness to work additional hours from time to time if the need arises
Closing Date: 30 September at 12.00pm (midday)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.34 per hour
