The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.
We are now looking for a Teacher of Humanities to join our team, with the ability to teach all humanities and/or social science. We are now recruiting due to our expanding sixth form which opened in September 2023. We look to build on the impressive improvements we have already made and you will need to have the skills and knowledge to teach across KS3 and KS4 and a good understanding of the current curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Embed an outstanding Humanities curriculum
- Assess students’ learning to inform planning and teaching
- Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in teaching and learning and conduct/behaviour
- Share our values of ambition, integrity, determination and kindness
- The ability to teach other humanities and/or social sciences would be useful
- Hold an absolute commitment to exceptional standards
- Be a consummate professional
- Be a team player with an understanding that excellence can only be achieved by working together
- Have a passion for their subject and ensuring students progress
Qualifications & Requirements
- Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service
- You will need to meet statutory guidance from the Department for Education (DfE) for safeguarding and promote the welfare of children
