Do you want to help build a sustainable future for east London? Here\’s an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise to the leading edge of sustainable development.
We\’re looking for an experienced sustainability practitioner to join LLDC\’s sustainability team. You\’ll support the delivery of LLDC\’s Climate Action Strategy, focusing on our development projects.
This role emphasizes our construction projects and requires balancing technical sustainability standards with development project delivery challenges.

This practical role suits an exceptional communicator. We require experience applying ambitious sustainability standards to developer partnerships (developer agreements, joint ventures, etc.).
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence LLDC\’s net zero and climate resilience objectives during a critical development period.
This fixed-term role lasts 9 months, working 4 days a week, mainly Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexible scheduling for the remaining days.
