Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and all staff.
  • Provide a comprehensive range of clerical functions to support the ward team in delivering high-quality care.
  • Liaise with patients, relatives, and third parties such as police, social services, and clinical staff in other trusts.
  • Act as a liaison between the clinical team, the patient’s family, and other third parties.
  • Use NHS IT systems daily, including the Patient Centre, and neonatal and maternity Badgernet systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
