Role Overview

Your role would include working across the Central Delivery Suite, Maternity Triage and Brancaster Ward under the direction of the line managers for each area. You will quickly become part of a friendly team.

Responsibilities

  • Order patient meals, deliver them to patients, and prepare hot drinks.
  • Work alongside domestic and maternity support workers to keep the unit clean and tidy.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order, clean, and up to date; report and action repairs.
  • Work autonomously, manage time, and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Support midwifery staff in the delivery and coordination of women’s requirements.
  • Work as part of the ward team to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for female patients and their families.
