The integrated Rehabilitation Service is looking for an enthusiastic staff member who wishes to develop their clinical skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be based within the Rapid Assessment and Frailty Team and will deliver high quality assessment, treatment, and advice for patients within our emergency areas, focusing on admission avoidance and facilitating early discharge.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patients with diverse and often complex needs as part of a supportive team.
- Work weekend shifts as part of an agreed rota.
- Serve as a senior member of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring smooth and effective delivery of services alongside colleagues.
- Manage own caseload independently, ensuring safe and seamless patient transfer through the journey in Queen Elizabeth Hospital to enable safe and timely discharges.
- Lead in-service training, supervise other staff members and mentor students.
- Act as an advocate to safeguard patient well-being, promote a positive experience, and liaise closely with patients, carers and multidisciplinary team members.
