The post holder will be expected to clerk patients who attend under the General Surgery department. This unit manages both acute and elective patients with general surgical complaints. You will manage patient's medical illnesses under supervision, request investigations / treatments for patients, take patient histories and carrying out routine patient examinations, communicate with patients, and provide discharge summaries etc. to promote good liaison with General Practitioners, liaise with patients' relatives and provide on-call services as required. You will be supervised by senior colleagues with timely consultant review. You will also participate in the acute on call rota on a 1:11 basis, where you will be part of the team.   • Full GMC Registration with License to Practice
