Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing team in our Endoscopy Unit here at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King\’s Lynn.
In our new state‑of‑the‑art unit, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered practitioner to work in all areas of the department. This unmissable opportunity is suitable either for a practitioner who already works in Endoscopy or is interested in learning Endoscopy.
This busy unit works over 6 days a week, offering a service to both out‑patients and in‑patients, providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for adults and also participating in an out of hours on call rota.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with all members of the ward/department clinical team and within the multidisciplinary framework.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse, taking the lead in clinical areas when competent and in the absence of a senior member of staff.
- Work in accordance with the principles governed by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and Trust Policies.
- Provide high standards of care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Adhere to the hospital’s trust values and incorporate these into daily work.
Qualifications
This vacancy is for Registered Nurses with full NMC registration in the UK. Internationally trained nurses who have not passed their OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) will not be considered for this role and will be automatically rejected.
