JOB PURPOSE

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all clients, staff, and visitor areas. You will work in accordance with set cleaning schedules and follow all health, safety, and infection control guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for all.

Full time 37.5 hours a week, rota shift pattern with 1 weekend working day per month. Part time hours would also be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily cleaning in bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, and communal areas to high standards.
  • Inspect furniture and furnishings, reporting major issues to supervisors.
  • Replenish supplies and report any damage or breakages.
  • Provide a reliable laundry service for residents, therapy, and catering departments.
  • Operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and use chemicals according to safety guidelines.
  • Assist therapy staff in teaching clients personal laundry skills.
  • Uphold strict client confidentiality at all times.

ABOUT YOU

You have a passion for good cleaning standards and hygiene. You have experience or knowledge of infection control and health and safety procedures. You are a team player but can also work independently.
