At Queen Eleanor’s Junior School, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Holiday Club Assistant to join our caring team of staff and support and supervise children attending our very first in house holiday club. Working hours will be variable and on a casual basis. Likely hours will range between 7.45am until 6.00pm, Monday - Friday, during the school holidays only.

Required:

  • Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
  • Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
  • Has experience of working with children;
  • Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
  • Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
  • Has recognised, relevant safeguarding training;
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;
  • Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children.
